What is a Foundation Programme?
A Foundation Programme helps bridge the gap between a student’s current education and the academic, language and practical expectations of higher education in the Czech Republic.
At ISN Prague, preparation is built around the intended subject, language pathway, academic background and admissions requirements of suitable Czech universities. It is preparation for applying and succeeding—not a guarantee of admission.

Students preparing for English-taught degrees generally focus on academic English and subject readiness. Students considering Czech-taught programmes combine intensive Czech language study with academic and subject preparation.

Subject-focused preparation
Preparation may be shaped around medicine and healthcare, engineering and technology, IT and computer science, business and economics, social sciences or another suitable field.
Entry and progression requirements differ between universities and programmes. ISN Prague supports preparation and applications but does not guarantee university admission.

Foundation tuition includes practical arrival essentials and ongoing coordination alongside academic preparation. Third-party living costs remain separate unless a written offer says otherwise.
