ISN is a very unique institution, which aims to provide information about higher education and connect students from all over the world in Prague, Czech Republic.
How much does it cost to live in Prague?
Living costs in the Czech Republic are considered to be affordable. The average living costs of students range from 300 to 650 EUR per month, including meals, accommodation, public transport and entertainment. Of course, prices may vary according to your location, accommodation choices, lifestyle, and spending habits.
How much Katie spends per month?
Accommodation: 390,- EUR
*I love my accommodation, it's modern, renovated and location is great.
Food: 290,- EUR
*I am having lunch in the restaurant and the rest I cook at home.
Hygiene: 35,- EUR
*There are special dedicated shops, where you can find all the possible brands and types of products, including cosmetics.

Drinks: 130,- EUR
*I am going out a lot with friends for wine (8,- EUR per glass). Otherwise, tap water taste good and I don't buy regular bottled water at all.
Sports: 0,- EUR
*I have a free access to a fitness center in my student residence. Also, many people are running in the morning and we have a wonderful park next to us.
Transportation: 5,- EUR
*Public transportation works 24/7 and is very convenient to use.
Entertainment: 15,- EUR
*Prague is so beautiful outside that there are hundreds and thousands of activities to do without spending a single cent.
Travelling: 80,- EUR
*You can buy return airplane ticket to Denmark or France for 10,- EUR only. ISN organizes many trips for us to pick.

How much Arthur spends per month?
Accommodation: 190,- EUR
*Most of my classmates live here, so there is lots of fun going on.
Food: 110,- EUR
*I cook at home, or buying some snacks. Sometimes I eat at the university canteen, where meal cost 2,- EUR only.
Drinks: 40,- EUR
*I drink tap water as everybody in Prague. And beer... as everybody in Prague.
Sports: 25,- EUR
*We have football / basketball / volleyball fields (2,- EUR per hour per team) and the fitness center (10,- EUR per month) in the dormitory.
Transportation: 5,- EUR
*Public transportation works 24/7 and is very convenient to use.
Entertainment: 25,- EUR
*We are not going out much. Cinemas (8,- EUR), paddle boats (10,- EUR per hour per boat), sometimes night clubs (usually free or 4,- EUR).
Hygiene: 20,- EUR
*Shampoo, shower gel and other small things, which you can usually buy in a supermarket.
Travelling: 80,- EUR
*Once per month ISN organizes a trip to other European cities like Budapest, Rome, Ibiza, etc. It's fun! And I get a chance to travel.
